I recently began compiling a groundbreaking book named "Intuition in Action," featuring contributions from 100 female leaders. Each of these accomplished women has been invited to share a specific instance where trusting their intuition led to an unexpectedly successful outcome.
Albert Einstein said: “The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honours the servant and has forgotten the gift.”
The idea of “women’s intuition” is a persistent stereotype, but regrettably it’s often used to dismiss women’s intelligence or belittle their achievements. This project aims to honour the gift and legitimise intuition as a professional skill, by showcasing a plethora of real-life examples from skilled female leaders.
I'm still seeking leaders from the following fields who are willing to offer me a book submission: engineering, financial advice, education, medicine, policing, journalism, military intelligence. Just one brief story (250-500 words) about a time when you made a decision based on intuition that conventional data alone couldn't resolve. My submission guidelines offer a brief synopsis of the book's premise, provide tips to recognise intuition and include examples of beneficial outcomes sparked by intution.
This is my third book and it's by far the most exciting! If you (or a female leader you know) has an inspiring story of intuition in action, recognise the power and purpose in sharing your experience with others. Note that any identifying details in your story can be disguised to protect privacy. Download my submission guidelines and once you're ready to come on board, let's connect!
